Growing up in the Bay Area, there really is not a lot of Mexican restaurants that offer really delicious Carne Asada Fries. Aliberto's has been the one and only Carne Asada Fries place that I have enjoyed in the Bay Area. I have not ordered anything from Aliberto's aside from their Carne Asada Fries, so I can't really be a judge of other parts of their menu. Over the years, their price has gone up but the serving size remained the same - A LOT. They have two versions of their carne asada fries - one regular and one super. I believe they only display the super option on their menu, but you can always ask for the regular version if you'd prefer that. I really like the regular version because it does not include lettuce, rice, and beans and you get more meat and fries. Their carne asada fries have a great balance of salty, spice, and savory flavors. You can always ask for extra sauce too. I have always ordered via drive-through, so I'm not really sure how it is dining in. Their drive-through is quite fast. Sometimes it can be long, especially during late evenings, but it is so worth it to go.
